This was my first trip to Sturgis and definitely will not be my last. My friend Ken ( whose picture you will see later) has been many times and shared the "tales" of Sturgis with me, but until you experience it for yourself .. you will never know for sure.
I took lots of pictures in and around Sturgis this year and I'll share some of them with you on the following pages. I hope you enjoy the Harleys and the "wildlife" pics (hehehe). Our journey began on Saturday, August 1, 1998 in Sylmar, CA where Ken lives. We loaded the bikes ( my '97 Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide (FXDWG) and Ken's 1998 Honda Gold Wing SE) on his trailer which was pulled behind his Chevy Suburban and began our trek .. some 1300 miles to Sturgis.
