My Mp3 page is designed to assist you in setting up your (IBM Compatible) "PC" to play and/or record MPEG Audio Layer-3 or as they are commonly called ..MP3.. sound files with an MP3 Player on your computer or on IRC (Internet Relay Chat) on the Internet. Please take the time to read the updates below, they contain the most recent information.

You can download MP3 players and programs to encode music as MP3's and printable help text files to get you on your way. Check out the MP3 Music News/Information Links, try one of the MP3 or Crack Search Engines and if you use or want to learn about using mIRC as your IRC client with these Mp3 programs, see my MP3 Setup Page too. So if you're into IRC and would like to say hello, visit the channels I frequent from time to time "#Mp3Oldies" and "#Mp3- Classic-Rock" on DalNet. We all know that Napster has gone down the tubes and have been in search of a replacement .. well you have to try Morpheus. It's very much like Napster and I've been very happy with it so far. You can download your copy at http://www.musiccity.com .. have fun!!
It's been quite a summer for me .. probably the best one in a couple of years. I've been slow to update the page but will make an attempt to keep the information a little fresher. To all of you who have sent me comments about the page I thank you.

As you probably know by now, I have a brand new website address. My main URL is now: www.eburrow.com. You can come directly to this page with www.eburrow.com/mp3.htm .. please bookmark these and use them now. I will be removing my site from the other ISP's (JPS) servers soon.
I've updated a few links and there are new versions out of mIRC (5.91), WinAMP (2.76), SpR Jukebox (8.7 rc3), MusicMatch Jukebox (6.1) and SDFind (3.96) All these program links can be found in my Programs and Links table below. Click Here! to download your copy.
I'm still receiving a few emails asking how to convert Mp3 files to .wav format using WinAmp prior to burning them to CD so I'll post this again. I've put together some quick and easy instructions (with screenshot illustrations) to do that so Click Here! to go to that page.

I've discovered a couple of new versions of "Oscar" the king of cracks/serial numbers . You can find them both (Oscar 2001 SE and Oscar 2001 Lite) by using my Crack Search Engine in the Table of Contents or on this German website Get Oscar Here! . The page is in German but just scroll down to the table and click on the flag on the left side of the screen for a loosly translated German to English page. For screenshots of these two programs and one additional (Serials 2000 Ver. 7.0b) scroll down to the bottom of the same page. Please keep in mind folks that from time to time on these sites you will encounter the dreaded "popup porn pages" (which I do not agree with) but they are a part of the internet and if you are offended by them don't use the search engines.

I'm listing this System-Failure.com link again for those of you that have inquired by email about making MP3 files into WAV files. This is a step by step instruction (with illustrations) of how to decompress .MP3 files to .WAV files using WinAmp (it's freeware you know :o) so they can be burned on to a CD for your listening pleasure. .. While you're at it, take a look at all the information there at System-Failure.com Just pick out an item of interest from the index on the left border of the page. If you're new to CD burning or just want a refresher course, this is a great place to go. Some of the sections are still being updated by Hazzard the new Webmaster (he hates to be called that).
